By of the Journal Sentinel A Madison woman has been charged with the 2007 death of her adopted daughter, who was discovered in a Gary, Indiana, garage that year but remained unidentified until a sister - who helped hide the body - turned in the mother last month. Taylin M. Hill, 50, appeared in court in Dane County on Monday. She is charged with first-degree reckless homicide in the death of Erika Hill, 15, as well as multiple counts of child abuse. that Erika Hill disappeared from the Fitchburg home where she had lived with Hill and Hill's other children.
